An Invitation from President Joel Rosenthal:
When it comes to complex global challenges like climate, migration, and war, the issues are too large and multifaceted for any individual or country to address on their own. We need a place for these conversations, to weigh basic issues of human rights, values and interests, democratic principles, and cooperation.
Today, it’s even more imperative that Carnegie Council is that place where people can come for this kind of exploration, enrichment, and genuine contribution to public life. We're building a community at Carnegie Council with great intention, energy, and purpose—locally, nationally, and globally. Ethics is meaningless without a community of people to engage, to activate, and to uphold the ethical values we all hold dear.
I hope you will join me in the President’s Circle. Together we can connect on the issues of the day, support meaningful dialogue on shared global challenges, and ensure that there will always be a home for prioritizing and practicing ethics. Your investment makes it possible.
We all want a future where ethics underpin the global decisions that matter most. Thank you for your support.
About the President's Circle
The President’s Circle is a multi-generational community of donors who see investing in ethics as a direct expression of their most deeply held values.
We invite donors who make annual gifts of $10,000 or more to become founding members of our President’s Circle. We’re also excited to open this opportunity to emerging leaders under the age of 35 to join us by making a gift of $5,000 or more.
In addition to recognition in our Annual Report, founding President’s Circle benefits include invitations to special events and receptions, expanded communications and engagement with the Council’s leadership, and priority access to Council events and reports. Members are honored each year at a gathering at the Council’s Global Ethics Hub in New York City.
President’s Circle donors have many options for making a gift:
- A one-time or monthly online contribution via our secure donate form
- Through a donor-advised fund, planned giving, or gift of stock or security
- By check made payable to Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs and mailed to:
