Carnegie Ethics Studio Receives Funding from Booz & Company

Carnegie Ethics StudioThe Carnegie Council is pleased to announce a grant from Booz & Company and its magazine strategy+business, funding the Carnegie Ethics Studio, a new-media venture. This grant complements recent support for the Ethics Studio received from the Carnegie Corporation.

The Carnegie Ethics Studio will produce original programming in a variety of new media formats. By reinforcing existing programs and expanding on successes, the Ethics Studio will bind the Carnegie Council's mission to the changing landscape of the digital world and provide a constant flow of positive examples for a better future. Ethics Studio programs will feature recognizable personalities discussing new ideas about human rights, the just use of force, the resolution of conflicts, and economic fairness.

"We have been very fortunate to work with Booz & Company and its magazine strategy+business to develop our business ethics and globalization programs," said Devin Stewart, Director of the Global Policy Innovations program at the Carnegie Council. "Consistent with their commitment to responsible business practices and 'megacommunity' engagement, they have played a critical role in helping us build our ongoing Workshops for Ethics in Business series, which has covered issues such as climate change and human rights policies. Booz & Company has demonstrated vision and dedication to building a vibrant global civil society, which is part of the goal of the Ethics Studio."
