Jana Lucash is a veteran educator at Hunter College High School (HCHS).
For over 20 years, she has developed both the International Relations program at HCHS and the 20th Century integrated Global/American History curriculum. As an advisor to the HCHS Washington Seminar Program, she supports students learning how government functions and prepares them for a three-day visit to Washington, DC, where they meet with policymakers, politicians, and academics.
Lucash also serves on the board of the Social Awakening Foundation, Inc, a nonprofit engaged in activities that include building community around the topics of how to navigate technology/social media/wellbeing and improve children’s quality of life.
