The RT Hon James Cleverly MP was appointed Secretary of State for the Home Department on November 13, 2023.
He was previously Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs between September 6, 2022 and November 13, 2023 and he was Secretary of State for Education from July 2022 to September 2022, among other appointments.
Cleverly was first elected as the Conservative MP for Braintree in May 2015.
