James Gustave Speth is a dean and professor at the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies, where he teaches classes in the practice of environmental policy and sustainable development. His long and varied career has included service at the UN and on U.S. environmental task forces. He is also the founder of an environmental NGO.
