Bio
Ton Veerkamp was born in 1933 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He studied philosophy in Nijmegen, The Netherlands, completing a Ph.L. in Theology in Maastricht and in New York, at the Union Theological Seminary, an S.T.L. He was advisor to foreign students at the Technical University, Berlin.
In 1988, in Berlin, he organized the International Hearing on Debts, Finance Systems, and the Responsibility of the Churches. He is affiliated with Kairos Europa, a nongovernmental organization working on problems faced by international financial institutions.
