Bio
Sony Kapoor is an expert on development issues and works extensively with international NGOs, think tanks, and developing and developed country governments. He is currently Head of Policy for Stamp Out Poverty, the London-based network of over fifty international NGOs, trade unions, and faith groups that deals with innovative sources of financing.
Mr. Kapoor leads the international policy and advocacy work for the International Tax Justice Network. He is the senior policy and advocacy advisor to a number of other international organizations, including Christian Aid UK, Jubilee USA Network, and New Rules for Global Finance. He has previously worked in investment banking and derivatives trading.
He holds MBA in finance and MSc from the London School of Economics, and a degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology. Sony Kapoor is an Ethics and Debt Project participant.
