Mira Rapp-Hooper is a senior fellow with the Asia-Pacific Security Program at Center for a New American Security.

Rapp-Hooper was previously a fellow with the CSIS Asia Program, director of the CSIS Asia Maritime Transparency Initiative, and a Stanton Nuclear Security Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations. In addition, she was the Asia policy coordinator for the 2016 Hillary Clinton campaign, a Foreign Policy Interrupted fellow, and is a David Rockefeller Fellow of the Trilateral Commission and an associate editor with the International Security Studies Forum. 

Rapp-Hooper's writings have appeared in Political Science Quarterly, Security Studies, Survival, The National Interest, Foreign Affairs, and The Washington Quarterly.
