Mark W. Olson is chairman of Treliant Risk Advisors.

Previously, Olson was chairman of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, a member of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors and the Federal Open Market Committee, and staff director of the securities subcommittee of the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs. In addition, he has served as president of the American Bankers Association and as a partner at Ernst & Young LLP.

Olson began his career at First Bank System and later served as legislative director in the office of Congressman Bill Frenzel (R-MN). In 1976, Olson was named president and CEO of Security State Bank, a position he held until he joined Ernst & Young in 1988.
