Joseph Boyle (1942-2016) was professor emeritus of philosophy at St Michael's College of the University of Toronto, and visiting professor of moral philosophy at the John Paul II Institute for Marriage and Family, Melbourne, Australia.
He was also a senior scholar of the Canadian Catholic Bioethics Institute.
