Jennifer Welsh is professor of international relations and a fellow of Somerville College at the University of Oxford. She is the author of At Home in the World: Canada's Global Vision for the 21st Century (2004), Edmund Burke and International Relations (1995), and a forthcoming book on "sovereignty as responsibility." Her edited volumes include The United Nations Security Council and War: The Evolution of Thought and Practice since 1945 (with Vaughan Lowe, Adam Roberts, and Dominik Zaum, 2008) and Humanitarian Intervention and International Relations (2004). In 2006 she was named Trudeau Fellow and currently co-directs (with David Rodin) the Oxford Institute for Ethics, Law, and Armed Conflict.
