David P. Forsythe

David P. Forsythe is emeritus professor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
He has held postdoctoral fellowships at Princeton and Yale, and visiting professorships at universities in Denmark, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. He has been a consultant to the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, and to the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Refugees.
He served as president of the Human Rights Committee of the International Political Science Association, vice president of the International Studies Association, and a member of the Committee on Scientific Freedom and Responsibility of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
