Charles M. Sennott is founder and former executive director of The GroundTruth Project and co-founder of GlobalPost.

Sennott was previously a foreign correspondent for The Boston Globe, serving as Middle East bureau chief, based in Jerusalem from 1997 to 2001 and as Europe bureau chief, based in London from 2001 to 2005. He also served as the Globe's staff writer for special projects in 2006. In 2005, Sennott was awarded a Niemam Fellowship at Harvard University.

In April, 2008, Sennott and CEO Philip Balboni launched GlobalPost.

Sennott is the author of The Body and The Blood and Broken Covenant and he has reported for PBS's Frontline.
