Charles R. Bailey
Adviser on Agent Orange
Charles Bailey is an author and agricultural economist.
Previously, Bailey was director of the Agent Orange in Vietnam program at the Aspen Institute from 2011 to 2014. Before that he worked for the Ford Foundation from 1972 to 2011. His final position was director of the Special Initiative on Agent Orange/Dioxin. Bailey also headed the foundation's Hanoi office from 1997 to 2007 and worked as a representative in Bangladesh, Thailand and Eastern and Southern Africa.
Along with Le Ke Son, Bailey is the author of From Enemies to Partners: Vietnam, the U.S. and Agent Orange.
