Blake D. Ratner is a director general and former research scientist with the WorldFish Center, in Penang, Malaysia, responsible for fostering research partnerships addressing environemtnal governance, conflict, and livelihoods. A Khmer speaker, he has worked in Cambodia and in neighboring countries of the Mekong River Basin intermittently since 1994. His recent articles have appeared in Population Research & Policy Review, Human Organization, Sociological Inquiry, Global Change and Peace & Security.
