Bill Drayton is founder and CEO of Ashoka, a non-profit organization dedicated to finding and fostering social entrepreneurs worldwide.

Previously, Drayton was a consultant at McKinsey and Company for 10 years. He was also assistant administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency during the Jimmy Carter administration. In addition, Drayton was a visiting professor at Harvard and Stanford.

Drayton is board chair of Get America Working! and Youth Venture. He has received many honors and awards. For example, he was elected one of the early MacArthur Fellows for his work, including the founding of Ashoka. In 2005, US News and World Report named him as one of America's 25 best leaders.
