Aneel Karnani is an associate professor of strategy at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business. His research focuses on competitive advantage, strategies for growth, global competition, and emerging economies.

His publications include articles in professional journals such as Management Science, Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Proceedings, Decision Sciences, Marketing Science, and Omega, and several cases on strategic planning. He is a member of the editorial boards of the Strategic Management Journal, European Management Review, Management Decision, Singapore Management Review, and Journal of Asian Business.
