Andy Yee is director of public policy & government relations, greater China at Visa Inc.
Previously, Yee was a policy analyst for Google in Asia Pacific. This entails a full range of internet policy issues including innovation, copyright, privacy, security and free expression.
He is a former researcher at the Political Section of the European Union Delegation to China in Beijing, and a former investment banker at UBS and Crédit Agricole.
He has written extensively on East Asia, international relations, and technology. His works have appeared in academic and policy journals including the Journal of Current Chinese Affairs, Global Asia, East Asia Forum and Internet Policy Review, and in the media including Global Voices Online, South China Morning Post, and Asia Sentinel.
