Andreas Hatzigeorgiou is chief economist at the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce in Sweden, a position he has held since 2015. 

Previously, Hatzigeorgiou was advisor to Sweden's minister for trade and Nordic cooperation from 2009 to 2014. He has also worked for the World Bank in Washington, DC, and for Sweden's National Board of Trade. In addition, Hatzigeorgiou is a research fellow at the Ratio Institute and a member of the advisory board at the Institute for Analytical Sociology.

He earned a Master’s degree as a Fulbright Scholar from the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a Ph.D. from Lund University in Sweden.
