Alec Ryrie is a professor in the Department of Theology and Religion at Durham University. Ryrie is a co-editor of Journal of Ecclesiastical History and his books include Protestants: The Faith that Made the Modern World, Being Protestant in Reformation Britain, and The Age of Reformation: The Tudor and Stewart Realms, 1485-1603.
