New Interview Series, "Ethics in Security Bulletin," with an Initial Focus on Ukraine

Feb 25, 2014

Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs is proud to announce the launch of a new interview series: the Ethics in Security Bulletin.

This free podcast will explore the ethical dimensions of issues around the world, from Eastern Europe to the Middle East, and will discuss the role played by U.S. foreign policy and the West.

The series is hosted by David C. Speedie, Carnegie Council senior fellow and director of the U.S. Global Engagement program. It debuted with three interviews with experts from Kiev and Crimea , which provide in-depth analysis of the situation in Ukraine.

"The view from Kiev is not enough, and that is what we get from the Western press," says Speedie. "Like other situations where we see mass protests or popular uprisings, such as Egypt and Syria, it is important to get behind the headlines."

They are also available on iTunes.
