With so many competing claims in our connected world, what's the right thing to do? As part of its three-year Centennial project, "Ethics for a Connected World," Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs is asking the world's leading thinkers, public intellectuals, and influencers to identify the greatest ethical questions facing the planet and how we should respond.
For the last year, Carnegie Council Senior Fellow Devin Stewart has been interviewing thought leaders from Europe, Asia, South America, the United States, and Africa. They include Grand Mufti Mustafa Ceric of Bosnia-Herzegovina; Pakistani journalist and author Ahmed Rashid; Hong Kong politician Emily Lau; ILO Director Juan Somavia of Chile; U.S. policymaker and scholar Anne-Marie Slaughter; and Zambian economist Dambisa Moyo.

In addition, the Council has launched Point B, a short weekly podcast which highlights the most thought-provoking ideas from these interviews.
"Taken together, these interviews will give individuals around the world a sense of the ethical priorities shared by some of the greatest thinkers of our time," says Devin Stewart. "And we've already noticed a series of common themes, such as inequality. A forthcoming report will showcase some of these topics."
