Thomas McGuire

Thomas McGuire is a research anthropologist and professor at the Bureau of Applied Research in Anthropology (BARA) at the University of Arizona. His research has focused on the economics and ecology of fishing communities, community rights and Native American water rights.

Most recently he has been involved in studies of the oil and gas industry in the Outer Continental Shelf of the Gulf of Mexico for a project funded by the Minerals Management Service.
