Stephen Guest

Stephen Guest is professor of legal philosophy at University College London and a barrister of the Inner Temple, London.

With Ronald Dworkin, he cochaired the annual Colloquium in Legal and Social Philosophy at UCL from 1999 to 2006, and was British Academy/Leverhulme Senior Research Fellow for 2006–2007.

He writes primarily on legal and political philosophy, particularly concerning the question of justification in legal reasoning and the relationship between justice, interpretation, and laws.

The third edition of his book, Ronald Dworkin, will be published by Stanford University Press in early 2012.
