Melanie Leech is vice chair of the Carnegie UK Trust and director general of the UK Food and Drink Federation.
Leech was previously chair of the Carnegie UK Trust. She has also served in a range of British government departments, including the Cabinet Office, Department of Culture Media and Sport, and HM Customs.
She was seconded from the civil service to the Association of Police Authorities as executive director.
