Sir Lawrence Freedman
Sir Lawrence Freedman has been Professor of War Studies at King's College London since 1982. In 2002 he became Head of the School of Social Sciences and Public Policy at King's College London.

Before joining King's, he held research appointments at Nuffield College Oxford, the International Institute for Strategic Studies, London, and the Royal Institute of International Affairs, London. Elected a Fellow of the British Academy in 1995, he was appointed Official Historian of the Falklands Campaign in 1997.
