Danielle Celermajer

Danielle Celermajer was formerly head of policy in the Office of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social Justice Commissioner at the Australian Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission.

She has written extensively on the forced removal of Aboriginal children and the apology movement that grew out of the belated exposure of this practice.

Celermajer's current research focuses on the relationship between religion and human rights.
