Christian Menegatti is managing editor and lead analyst at RGEMonitor.com. He joined RGE Monitor after spending three years as a research scholar at the Department of Economics at New York University.

Menegatti's areas of expertise are global macroeconomics, U.S. economy, U.S. housing sector, monetary policy, and capital flows—foreign reserve accumulation and management. Menegatti makes regular media appearances on CNBC and Fox Business News and is frequently quoted in the financial press.

Menegatti holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Venice, Italy and an M.A. in economics and finance from Venice International University.
