Bio

Kim Beng Phar is currently a visiting scholar at Waseda University in Tokyo where he is writing a book on East Asian community. Prior to this affiliation, he was a senior research associate with City University of Hong Kong. He received his M.A. from the University of Notre Dame, and doctoral education from the University of Cambridge (M.Phil.) and The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (Ph.D. candidate). His thesis is entitled ""On The Prospects and Limitations of Track 2 Diplomacy in East Asia.""
