Frank Plantan is a co-director of the international relations program at the University of Pennsylvania and serves as national president of the National Honor Society for International Studies, Sigma Iota Rho. His areas of expertise include Northeast Asia and the political, economic, and foreign relations of Korea, China, and Japan, as well as the history of international relations in American higher education.
