Edward McMillan-Scott

Former Vice President of the European Parliament

Edward McMillan-Scott is the former vice president of the European Parliament.

McMillan-Scott was the Yorkshire & Humber UK Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from 1984 to 2014. From 1997 to 2001, he was the leader of 36 Conservative MEPs. McMillan switched his affiliation to the Liberal Democrats in March 2010.

In addition, he was elected as vice president of the European Parliament four times and served from 2004 to 2014.

McMilllan-Scott also founded the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights and is on the advisor board of China Aid.
