Alison M. Jaggar is college professor of distinction in philosophy and women and gender studies at the University of Colorado, Boulder. She has written a number of books, including Feminist Politics and Human Nature (1983) and Abortion: Three Perspectives (with Philip Devine, Michael Tooley, and Celia Wolf-Devine, 2008).
