He is the president of the Immigration Research Forum, an independent, non-partisan, non-profit organization established in Washington, DC dedicated to the research of trans-Atlantic immigration, the social integration of immigrants, and their impact on host communities and countries of origin. He has worked as a journalist for several news outlets and managed US-based and international non-profit organizations.
