Jean Blackwell is former CEO of Cummins Foundation and executive vice president of corporate responsibility, Cummins Inc.
Blackwell joined Cummins in 1997 and initially served as vice president and general counsel. During her time at Cummins, she has served as vice president of human resources, chief financial officer, and executive vice president. Blackwell has been in her current role since 2008.
Blackwell was previously a partner in the Indianapolis law firm of Bose McKinney & Evans LLP. She has also served on Indiana's Governors Committee on Welfare Property Tax Reform and as chair of Indiana's Intelenet Commission and State Ethics Commission. In addition, Blackwell served as an executive director of the Indiana State Lottery Commission and was budget director for the state of Indiana.
