Bio

Dominique Moïsi, a founder and senior advisor at the French Institute for International Relations, is currently a professor at the College of Europe in Natolin, Warsaw. He is also a columnist for the Financial Times, Die Welt, Ouest France, and other European news papers.

Moïsi is author of the book, The Geopolitics of Emotion: How Cultures of Fear, Humiliation, and Hope are Reshaping the World, and co-editor with Bertrand de La Chapelle of Liberty, Risk and Responsibility: New Perspectives on Globalisation at the Time of International Terrorism (2002). His article, "The Clash of Emotions" appeared in the January/February 2007 edition of Foreign Affairs.
