Oren Ipp

Truman National Security Project

Bio

Oren Ipp is a fellow with the Truman National Security Project. He is currently working as a consultant with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP); his assignment focuses on issues of security sector reform and governance.

This past fall, he worked for the Obama campaign in Western Pennsylvania as a constituency outreach and field organizer. Prior to the campaign, he spent two years in Afghanistan with the National Democratic Institute (NDI) working on national and sub-national legislative programs; he also worked for NDI in Washington, DC, covering the South Asia portfolio.

Ipp spent almost two years directing study abroad programs in Central Europe and Latin America. He holds a Master's degree from Stanford University, and a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, San Diego.
