Hirad Abtahi

Bio

Hirad Abtahi is the first legal adviser of the Presidency of the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Previously, he served the Chambers of the UN International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in the Miloševic trial.

In 2008, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the adoption of the historic 1948 Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, he released his co-authored work: The Genocide Convention: the Travaux Préparatoires.
