Ethics Fellow for the Future Alumna

Bio

Gaea Patrice Morales is a sophomore at Occidental College, currently pursuing degrees in diplomacy and world affairs and psychology, and a minor in French. Born and raised in Manila, Philippines, she is one of the international scholars of the Class of 2018.

Upon graduating high school in 2014, she was named the Margaret Sanders Scholar from the East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS) for her work in service, sustainability, and community. She continues her passion through her involvement with Occidental's International Admissions Office and the John Parke Young Initiative on the Global Economy, particularly through research on the intersections between environmental sustainability and financial practices. Through integrating studies in psychology and international affairs, she hopes to revitalize an empathetic focus on human rights at the level of the individual, and the power of approaching policy in light of both the natural and social sciences.
