Stephane Lacroix is an assistant professor of political science at Sciences Po and an associate fellow at the Kuwait Program.

His work focuses on Islam and politics in the contemporary Middle East, with a particular interest in the Gulf region. Lacroix's current research examines the transnationalization of salafism and its effects on the movement's ideology and practices.

He has published articles in the International Journal of Middle Eastern Studies and the Middle East Journal.
