Bio

Lyn Traverse was director of development and strategic partnerships at Carnegie Council.

Traverse came to Carnegie Council with an extensive background in fundraising. Highlights of her career include serving as chief development officer at The Hastings Center, a bioethics think tank, The Nature Conservancy's Connecticut Chapter, Silver Hill Hospital, Long Wharf Theatre, two independent boarding schools in Connecticut, and various positions in higher education.

Traverse began her career at NYU where she was a philosophy major who transitioned into development. She led the capital campaign for Friends Seminary from 2006-2010.

Traverse holds a BA from the University of Connecticut.
