Krista Bauer

Bio

Krista Bauer is the director of Global Programs for GE Company, based in Fairfield, CT, and is accountable for the company's product donation investments around the world. She leads GE's signature programs to address health and environment needs for the developing world through product donation and financial support. In addition, Bauer is responsible for GE's Disaster Relief efforts and the GE Foundation International grants portfolio, as well as other company efforts related to equipment, product and services donations.

Krista joined GE in 1996, and has held business leadership roles in marketing and six sigma in several GE Capital businesses. During her early GE tenure, she played a primary leadership role in six sigma program development and implementation for the GE Capital Services businesses, and drove a multi-year total business reengineering effort for GE Consumer Finance-Partnership Marketing Group. Prior to her current role, Bauer was the chief marketing officer for GE Commercial Finance Fleet Services, leading all aspects of global marketing to increase customer, community and employee engagement.

Prior to GE, Bauer worked for Lord Corporation in Pennsylvania and North Carolina, where she held several engineering positions in product development and process research, focused on water-based adhesive technologies.

Bauer holds a BS and MS in chemical engineering from Case Western Reserve University, and earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
