As the United States attempts to deal with North Korea's military—including the nation's development of long-range missiles and nuclear weapons—what is the role of South Korea and China?

What are the next steps that would be necessary to provide positive results? How can the world community address these nuclear threats?

Ambassador Christopher Robert Hill is the chief advisor to the chancellor for global engagement and professor of the practice in diplomacy at the University of Denver. He is the former U.S. ambassador to the Republic of Korea, Iraq, Poland, and the Republic of Macedonia.
