Perhaps we have more information about our situation in the universe. We can really see how we all share a destiny—Chinese, Russians, Americans, Colombians.
The great challenge is to learn how to live better. The least we can do is to achieve a situation where every child that is born is wished for—hugged, loved, desired.
I think people are very similar, and ethics are similar everywhere in the world. I think we feel responsibility to our family, to our children, to more vulnerable citizens in society.
All wars have in common very irrational beliefs. They have in common the nationalistic, the ethnic, the religious—all kinds of irrational ways humans have invented to hate each other. I think as reason progresses, more education, these kinds of causes for war should wither away.
