New York University (New York, New York), May 24-27,2004 A second intensive workshop with the goal of devising intellectual and pedagogical tools that will enable faculty to incorporate an understanding of environmental ethics and values into their research and teaching.
- Global Justice
Shanghai Normal University (Shanghai, China), January 8-12, 2004 In recognition of China's emerging role in global institutions and the importance of the emerging field of global justice, the workshop will bring together an international, inter-cultural, and inter-disciplinary group of scholars working on global justice issues from the United States, Norway, Israel, and Australia together with their counterparts from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore to explore commonalities and differences in their approaches to this field.
