Zachary Karabell

Zachary Karabell is president of RiverTwice Research, where he analyzes economic and political trends, and of River Twice Capital Advisors. He is an historian, money manager, economist and a CNBC Contributor. He is also a senior advisor for Business for Social Responsibility. Previously, he was president, head of marketing, and chief economist at Fred Alger Management as well as portfolio manager of the China-US Growth Fund. He writes for a variety of publications and pens a regular column in Time magazine as "The Curious Capitalist." Educated at Columbia, Oxford, and Harvard, where he received his Ph.D., Karabell is the author of several books, including Sustainable Excellence: The Future of Business in a Fast-Changing World (co-authored with Aron Cramer) and Superfusion: How China and America Became One Economy and Why the World's Prosperity Depends on It. Karabell has been a featured speaker many times at the Carnegie Council. |
