Stephen Schlesinger is a fellow at the Century Foundation and former director of the World Policy Institute.
He is the author of Act of Creation: The Founding of the United Nations (2004), coauthor (with Stephen Kinzer) of Bitter Fruit: The Story of the American Coup in Guatemala (expanded edition, 1999), and coeditor of Journals 1952-2000 by Arthur Schlesinger, Jr. (2007).
