Sridhar Venkatapuram

Sridhar Venkatapuram is an ESRC-DFID research fellow at University College London and an affiliated lecturer in sociology at Cambridge University. His research and teaching interests include social and global justice theories, ethics of health inequalities, human rights, and health sociology.

Prior to receiving his Ph.D. in social and political philosophy from Cambridge University, he worked as a health advocate and researcher at Human Rights Watch, Open Society Institute, and the Population Council. He is currently writing a book on health justice and the capabilities approach.
