Scott Barrett

Scott Barrett is professor of environmental economics and international political economy, Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies.
His research is concerned with the interaction between natural and social systems, particularly at the international and global levels. Most of his research focuses on the design of international institutions. In addition to his academic work, Barrett has advised a number of international organizations, including the United Nations, the World Bank, the OECD, and the European Commission. He is currently an adviser to the International Task Force on Global Public Goods. Barrett taught previously at the London Business School, and was a research director at CSERGE based at University College London. He received his PhD in economics from the London School of Economics. |
