Bio

Robin J. Thompson is a trustee and fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of the Arts (RSA) in London.

He has been a fellow of the RSA for over 25 years, and has been directly involved in organizing events in the USA and representing the Society in Manhattan.

Thompson has special knowledge of corporate branding and communications and is currently a senior advisor to Landor Associates, a leading firm of branding consultants and designers, and to Young & Rubicam Brands. His clients have included Samsung in Korea, Fletcher Challenge in New Zealand, Boehringer Mannheim in Germany, Tenaris in Argentina, and The Gillette Company here in the U.S.

His business career began in the oil industry with Shell in the UK, Australia, and Germany, followed by McKinsey & Company as a management consultant in the UK and Germany.
