Robert M. Cutler

Robert M. Cutler is a fellow at the Institute of European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies, Carleton University, Ottawa.

After a dozen years in universities, he expanded into policy analysis and consulting, mainly as an energy security specialist. He has worked with think tanks, international energy firms, civil society organizations, governments, and international institutions on questions of organizational design, risk analysis, negotiation strategies, and information management.

Cutler sits on the editorial boards of professional and policy journals, and has served on the executive board of the International Research Foundation for Development and its representative to the United Nations General Assembly's Economic and Social Council, as well as the Central Eurasian Studies Society.
